IT'S IN THE PAST! stop dwelling on the past. move forward into the future. Isn't that what people say? Besides, most of those terrorists are DEAD! THERE IS NO POINT IN CRYING OVER SPILLED MILK! it happened 6 years ago. The Irish got over the Potato famine. The blacks got over Slavery. The Jews got over the Holocaust so
Stop dwelling in the past! Move forward into the future! We won't get anywhere with this VICTIM MENTALITY! SO WHAT? people say get out SLAVERY, WW2, and the HOLOCAUST so why is what I am saying any different?

But THAT IS NOT MY POINT OF THIS QUESTION! I am not attacking anyone or WHITE PEOPLE. I am showing a COMPARISON. I wanted to show people why it is RUDE to say GET OVER anything. Do you see how inconsiderate this question is so next time anyone says "get over the Holocaust!" think about How people could say the same about 9/11.

I am black and i was offended and outraged by 9/11 not because of my color but because my homeland was attacked by foreign devils!

but your right it is rude to just "get over it" that is usually the answer to someone who is not affected by the situation

I think a better comparison would have been for Americans to get over 9/11, not "white people"... And I think I get your point besides that error..

Good point Lisa, but being targeted for a personal thing verses the country you belong to are different. You know, you can't choose your color or race, but you can choose your country.
I know what you mean about getting over things. It's all relative...Try to tell a parent to 'get over' the death of a child. NEVER.

What in the hell are you talking about???? There were over 5000 people that died over the terrorist act of 911, the USA was shattered over this terrible act, no matter what color or race, it affected us all as one nation. What if it was your mother, father, brother or sister who died? This is STILL fresh in our minds, it didnt happen 100 or 200 years ago, and there is nobody still living that was a slave in the USA.

YOU are a nut. You can't EVEN compare this to the other things, because whites were not attacked on 9/11, America was.

lol @ the potato famine.....Man, I guess some people are empathic towards different people and different problems...that's all. Like you could have someone all sad about the holocaust but insist that Blacks are babies about slavery....that's life

It's not just 'white' people that can't get over 9/11. It's most Americans. And I agree, get over it already.
The funny thing is if Americans researched 9/11 a little, they would find that all the stories we've been told by the media and our leaders don't in fact add up and are all lies. It was an inside job and most people are too naive to figure it out.
Oh ya, remember....that's why we are at war....ya.....we were 'attacked' by Muslims with box cutters....ya.....
