Babies kept dieing on the 8th day of life at an unwed mothers hospital in England in the early 70's. Center for Disease Control Shut hospital down to clean and then the hospital re-opened after 30 days. Again babies started to die on the 8th day of life. I need to know what was causing the babies to die and how the problem was introduced. This happened in England first. Please Help if you can!

1.Someone has created an urban myth, and you have fallen for it.

2. This is why it is not true:
a) there were no hospitals for unwed mothers,
b) there was no such body as the "Center for Disease Control".

3. It sounds suspiciously like a rumour that originated in the USA's religious right, with the moral of the story being that God will bring punishment down on those who offend Him with their immoral behaviour.
