has anyone heard it?
is it as good as 'moon and antarctica'?
(fyi, i thought that good news was a good album but a disappointment in comparison with some previous works)

Yeah I have. I personally think its great and l thought Good News was good too. Heres how i rank the 5 main albums they have come out with including the new one...
1. The Lonesome Crowded West
2. We Were Dead Before The Ship Even Sank
3. The Moon and Antarctica
4. Good News ..
5. This is a Long Drive ...
That was hard since all their albums are solid, but yeah I think its slightly better than M&A. M&A is great and all, but I personally am not a huge fan of a couple songs on the album (The Cold Part, Alone Down There, and Lives). I like all the songs on the new album ... especially Spitting Venom, Missed the Boat, Parting of the Sensory, and Steam Engenius.

eh, in my opinion the new one kind of sounds a lot like good news for people who love bad news. i'm a fan of the moon and antarctica and the lonesome crowded west myself, but their newer stuff is kind of disappointing.

On this, and their last album, they were pressured by their label to create something more radio friendly...so they buckled down and did it. If you liked the last one, you'll like this one.
