1st off..If your doctors checked you out, and they are not concerned, then don't worry to much.
2nd. I'm not going to say everything is going to be alright, because something may have happened during the crash that the doctors can't recognize yet.
3rd. If you loose your baby, and the doctors can prove that it was caused by that car accident, you can get the person for vehicular homicide.
4th. Please don't worry, just take every day as it goes, I know it's not easy, but the more you worry the more you are at risk at something happening.
5th. I hope that the cop fined that mother f**er because he hit a pregnant woman!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

If both of your doctors said you're ok .. then I think you are ok.
I'm so sorry this happend. As long as you don't feel weird and there is no cramping/bleeding .. you should be fine.

The only thing you will really have to worry about is if you have back pain in the next month or so. Many times the back injuries don't show up until after a couple weeks. That will make the last months of pregnancy harder .. and more painful on your back. And being pregnant .. you wont be able to take pain meds or go to physical therapy.

I hope you get a good attorney! I've worked at a Law Firm for 2 years and both my father and father in law are attorneys .. I know first hand you will get good money for all the stress/suffering you are going through worring about your baby.

good luck! God bless!

My sister was rear ended when she was 8 months pregnant. She was also stopped at a red light. There were no injuries and very little vehicle damage. Her baby was just fine. If you have been checked out and they didn't see any problems and you don't feel like anything is wrong, then I would try not to worry about it. The stress of worrying isn't good for you. If you start to have any pains go to your doctor right away, but if you feel fine then don't worry. These things happen, just be glad it wasn't a more serious accident.

I just wanted to say that I'm glad that you are both OK!! That's scary and it's completely normal to wonder this!! I would do the same exact thing. If you are still worried about it on Fri. I would suggest calling your ob/gyn and telling her how worried you are about it and that you want to be checked out again just to be sure. I bet she will be more then happy to check you out and put your mind at ease. Not to mention a week is a good amount of time to see if anything else has come up. I hope this helps!! I wish you both the best!!

I am glad that you went to see your Dr as soon as possible. But, there is so much protection in the womb that the baby prob only felt a slight bounce. Unless your Dr told you that you should worry, I wouldnt worry about any long term OR short term problems. I fell out of a moving car at 30 miles per hour and rolled across 4 lanes of highway then 2 months later I fell down 2 flights of steps because I fainted, He is fine, and doing very well in school. My second, my dog got under my feet a tripped me and I fell down 1/2 a flight of steps. He is fine too!!!! Sorry that had to happen to you but I am sure you and baby are going to be just fine!!!

How awful! I hope they caught the person who hit you!

Anyway, don't worry. If the hospital and your OB says you are okay, then you will be fine. Its true that the baby has a lot of cushioning in there. Are you still feeling movement? That should be your guide.

Doctors can tell a lot from fetal heart rate monitoring, ultrasound, and physical exam, and they said you are okay. You are lucky, so don't worry.

I got in an accident (rear-ender) when I was first pregnant with my first. She is now 8 and is perfect and healthy in every way. If they said everything was OK then it is. Stressing is not good for the baby. The baby is VERY protected in there. No need to worry.

The exact same thing happened to me when I was five months pregnant. My baby was fine. The doctors said it is like the baby in in a bowl of jello. If it had happened closer to your due date then you would have more to be worried about. Like pre-mature labor. I fell down the staircase in my eight month with my other baby and they were able to stop the labor and the baby was fine. Be sure to take care of yourself though. Physical therapy was very helpful for me. I know it is hard not to worry but stress is not good for you when your pregnant. I am sure your baby is fine. Take Care.

Your baby is surrounded by a nice sac of liquid to protect them. If all checke out fine you should be okay. I was side impacted at around the same time in pregnancy and it was okay.
