We have been friends for years. Lately, we have started emailing a lot and become quite close. I told her I felt like she was becoming one of my closest friends. I then sent her an ecard for VDay telling her what a great and rare friend she was and that I was thinking of her. She was really happy and thanked me. Ever since, our friendship has become quite flirty and skyrocketed. She now emails all the time and tells me anything about herself I want to know despite being a closed person usually. She also wants to know all about me as well. Is something happening more than friendship here?

Basically the more I say I care about her and flirt with her, the closer of friends we become!

The best romantic relationships begin with a close friendship. It sounds like you're building a solid foundation of friendship which will do nothing but help should you become romantic.

It sounds like your relationship is primarily on-line and that is the only concern. Years ago (before the internet) romantic couples were sometimes pen pals first. It served the same purpose but it would probably be a good idea if you actually met and spent time with each other. There are things about a person which you will never know or find out about by simply e-mailing.

I honestly would like to say you have a rare relationship. You are becoming more than friends (slowly). But your relationship is based on your friendship with her. So yeah, good luck!

i think of that having that extra charm to the different is a wondeful ingredient that binds 2 human beings extra collectively. Why could you prefer to danger it? what's to earnings? Are you yearning for actual closeness? If I have been you, i could ask oblique questions - like, do you sense like hugging from time to time, or like getting nearer bodily? Ask her for her needs without thinking that loads of your self. while she sounds like she would be in a position to believe you extra - you are able to "win" her affection extra truthfully. If she isn't exhibiting her affection to you yet - no could desire to ask, this is possibly no longer there - yet that does no longer advise which you will no longer artwork in direction of getting it. Be playful, this is exciting cases! :) don't be too impatient (this is a distinctive function to attend and notice) yet DO have exciting with it and maximum of all delight in the moments along with your buddy as much as achieveable!

It certainly sounds that way! I married my best friend of 7 years and we've just celebrated our 10th anniversary. It's a wonderful way to start a relationship!

That's how it starts. How it goes from here depends on your ability to open up and communicate. You need to be more open with her if you want the best kind of relationship with her. Good luck!
