I work at a history theme park, where we all wear period clothing. When it's still cold out I'm usually the only barefooter but in summer most of us in Prehistory & most of the Medieval monks are barefoot. No safety rules prohibiting our barefooting, we do have a dress code that we can't wear anything that wasn't period -no modern clothing or footwear, make-up, nailpolish etc, but bare feet go well for many of us.
Btw I've also done some office work barefoot & did some packing & sorting temp job, barefoot as well.

I'm a carpenter and I go barefoot 80% of the time at work. I have safety products for when conditions warrant thier need like gloves, safety glases, ear plugs, and shoes. I wear them when they're needed but not constantly.

I boycotted shoes for over 2 years when I was younger, and the always let me work barefooted. I think if you work in a restaurant you have to, but i'm not sure. good luck!!!

I can be barefoot at work if I want to be. I drive cab, and when I am not doing anything, I can take off my sandals and be barefoot in the cab. AT the office, which is at the boss's home, I can be barefoot there as well.
