Help! My friend's idiot brother threw a green whiteboard marker at me, and the cover flew off and marked my new, beige, cotton shirt FROM OLD NAVY. If it was from Zellers, then that would be okay. Grrrr, what should I do?! It was on Saturday, and now it's Tuesday! Is it too late? If it is, that idiot Frankie is buying me THREE shirts from GARAGE. *fumes*

Try hairspray. Sometimes it's pretty effective

Usually, dry-erase markers are oil-based, so dish soap is a good option. But use COLD water! Hot water might cause the stain to "set" in the cloth. Good luck!

Be careful...I think that some of the other suggestions might harm the fabric of your shirt.

Oxi clean is the terrific at removing stains. especially cases you're able to soak it for roughly 30 minutes to an hour. For an exceedingly undesirable stain that i will no longer be able to get out, I soak it in a bucket of water with Oxi clean in one day and wash day after today and the stain basically approximately constantly comes out.

They're supposed to wash out with water, although sooner would have been better. Try pre-treating it with some detergent BEFORE you wash it, and it should come right out.

Try spraying it with aerosol hairspray, letting it soak a little bit, and then washing it. Good luck.
