arsenal have some good young players but they are just not good enough to win a cup final. they did well against chelsea but they are not the same without thierry henry.

To Arsene Wenger, all Premiership managers (and most Fans) the Carling Cup is the least important competition in a season, Premiership, Europe and FA cup run much higher. so its great experience for his youngsters and to reach the final should not be condeemned as blaming them for not fielding the big stars and losing. I think its a great policy and one which most other "big" clubs go for to give the kids a run out.

I'm not a football fan, but from what I gather, the young gunners got them to the cup final, it would have been unfair then to put in the regular first team.
Congratulations to Arsenal for giving the youngsters the opportunity.

No. I think it was more important for Arsenal to let the young players participate in the finals since they worked hard to get there and it's good for them to get the exposure. The young players performed really well too.

It was probably more important for them to give the youngsters the final they deserved for getting them there in the first place... they destroyed a lacklustre liverpool side at Anfield if you remember, so they had every chance of beating Chelski in the final. I think they were unlucky not to win.

No it was the officials fault that we lost the game how much money did chelski pay them their first goal was offside and Emmanuel Adebayor should never have been sent off we were robbed.

not really because they earned the place there and it would only be fair to give them the chance to win it. and they still held their own. let themselves down a bit with all the fracas at the end but they werent far off winning. it was a respectable performance.

No. The big guns didn't have any rights to play in a competition in which the kids have bossed.

how would you feel you get your team to a cup final, and then the manager tells you you are dropped, no they deserved a chance and will benefit from it ?
