If you have the trailer on DVD and you're playing it on your computer, then PowerDVD has a screen capture button, and also Windows Media Player can capture images using Ctrl & i, but only if you have video overlays switched off. It should be easy enough to find details of how to do this on the internet.
If you're using a domestic DVD player then you're only choice is to use a digital camera and take a pic of your TV - quality will be awful though.
If you're watching streaming trailers (like from the Apple website) then you'll need screen capture software that can take a snapshot of your desktop. Sometimes pressing Ctrl & Print Screen will put a snapshot into your clipboard which you can then paste into an image, but that only works with certain players.
