and the site from which i got virus opens automatically when i open internet explorer what should i do

You didn't completly remove it then, likely something in registry.
Easy way =get CCleaner and winpatrol (both are free).
of note win patrol has lock feature to keep host and start page from being changed.
I have some links to some other free programs on my yahoo page(http://www.geocities.com/johntor731).
Also a good program to run is MS defender free also type that in to google and you should get to right page.
And also i would go into ie >tools>internet options>General and in there click delete cookies & delete files, you'll see your start page setting in there also.

Try This. Open Internet Explorer. Select Tools | Internet Options. Under the General Tab change it.

Clear all old temporary Internet files.
1 IE/tools/Internet Options
security/ restricted sites.
sites/restricted sites
add this site
enter the website address
add.
2. Now open the web site you want as Home Page.
Tools/Internet Options/General/ Use current. page

I believe there is a way to go into my computer and into the Windows application file and find anything that doesnt belong, but i cant really help you if i dont know whether its Vista, XP, 2000, or even windows 95. No offense, but be a little more specific please!

You might want to try running any spyware programs first. To name a few:
1.) Ad Aware
2.) Spybot
