he had his nurse run a test that he said only she could do. I was only in there to check up on my anle that was a little bit swollen. Anyway, before the nurse ran her test I asked what test was she going to run. She said it was a test to see if I had E.D. The next 20 minutes were a blur and I felt like she had given me a shot of numbing thing something that would make me forget.What do you think?

if these are typos and you meant ankle and swollen....there should have been no shot and no test?
I would be concerned.

call your doctor and tell him youde like to know exacly what this test was for and why he ordered it. Also ask him for the written results of this test. It is always good to keep diagnostic results for your own knowledge of your medical record. bettyk

That you should never submit to tests that you don't ask for unless the doctor can explain why he or she feels that you need that test.
