I'm not sure what their interests or hobbies are in life. A friend was not sure what to get her parents for their anniversary and we came up with a globe. She purchased a beautiful onyx globe and gave them the world. The globe seemed to impress lots of attendees. A book from Barnes and Noble or to even take them out to lunch. Everyone only has 1 mom and 1 dad. Enjoy them to the fullest. Good Luck honey!!

Hi,
A great idea for a personal gift is a handmade painting made from a photo that you send of your parents or Family.
Check out this site: www.paintyourlife.com
The prices are reasonable and the outcome is great.
it is a very unique gift.

My mum and dad are always happy with a bottle of GOOD quality wine.... not the £3.99 stuff that i'd be tempted to buy.
Parents are always pleased with whatever you get them, so there is no need for any kind of over- the -top gestures.

Anything that would remind them of good old memories.. Could be a picture frame that has a picture of your family... Anything thoughtful.. Really.. If I were to do that, I'd make an entire photo album!

His and Hers matching dressing gowns...or you could cook them a nice meal to thank you, candles on the table with a big bunch of roses for your mum and maybe your dads favourite aftershave..

Think of what they like, and then decide what to get them. You could also get a gag gift, everybody loves those.
