If the baby is still not on solid food, and there is no reason why they have to be now, they should be drinking a bottle every 4-5 hours. Remember formula babies usually go a little longer between feedings since formula is heavier and takes longer to digest. Also, remember the naps. They will make the feeding times vary depending how long the naps are. The bottles should be between 6-8 ounces.

Depends on the baby! Only you will know for sure. Feed your baby when they are hungry and don't feed them when they are not interested, and let nature and their body handle the rest. 5-month olds should still be eating "on demand" but it's also a good time to introduce a basic routine of breakfast, lunch, and dinner with some snacks of milk in between.

As much as they want! A 5 month old baby should be fed according to their appetite, whether breastfed or formula-fed.

why don't you ask your doctor? babies are delicate. don't get answers from just anybody on the internet.
btw, breast milk or formula is, of course, normally babies' main food.
