Ok I have to go to a viewing tonight, but I cant find out from anyone what I should be wearing. Do I go for a pair of dress pants/skirt and a nice top, or do I go for a pair of jeans and a nice top and look more semi-casual?

dress pants/skirt - neutral or dark(NOT bright) - nice shirt, sweater, or jacket, hosiery, tailored shoes or boots
Look conservative rather than flashy or trendy.

Don't wear jeans. You want to dress up to show respect for the dead & the family. Wear dark colors.

do not wear jeans! wear either navy or black slacks or skirt and a nice top.
