Maybe to much sleep? Maybe your are not drinking enough water, Hereditary.... There is a lot of reasons however,
Try this....
1. Grab some teabags.. Put them in water as hot as you can stand the heat will reduce puffiness, get the cirrculation pumping, and will perk your eyes up. It is also very relaxing!

Do you wear glasses or contacts? Go to an ophthalmologist and have your eyesight checked. You could have strained eyes. Also try sleeping with a compress on your eyes. Either cold or warm. Cold for swelling and heat for soreness. Be sure you are sleeping well. Not just a long time. Try relaxing before bedtime.
Prayer works for me. Good luck

Don't know if you already wear glasses or contacts, but it could be eyestrain that would be fixed with corrective lenses. I'd make an appointment with an eye doctor.

Eyestrain? Maybe you look at a computer or TV screen too long without breaks each day?

You've prolly been exposed to too much light or prolly your eyes are too sensitive. You can massage its sides or rest it every once in a while by just closing them...

Maybe your perscription is outdated. Mine felt like that because I was straining to see things that were far away.
