how is it done? how will u know? how fast the pulse would be or how may pulses per second? (is my question right?)

I didn't know this but one day I was talking to a lady, and she just asked me when my baby was due, I was like how did you know?! She said I see it in your neck, I don't know how she did it but she did and I thought it was amazing

I can't remember how it's done, but this older lady I worked with swore by it and told my friend she was pregnant, and she was right.
