I saw Black Christmas and I think it was worse than I imagined. You know there are issues when the hottest girl in the movie ends up with her heads in the toilet and throwing up.

When I saw "Star Wars Episode I" I was in a very abusive marriage. Everything, and I mean everything, my first husband did was selfish. He would often go to movies that he knew I wanted to see and then call me at work to tell me all the spellbinding details of the movie.
When he finally got a job, I used the time to finally see a movie he would like. It was painful to watch but worth every second to keep threatening to tell him details about the movie.
I didn't disclose details, because I believe that disclosing details of a movie to someone who hasn't seen it to be morally wrong, but man was it fun to dangle it over his head for awhile.
BTW, I am divorced to him and now married to someone who treats movies as sacredly as I do.

Well, yes. But not despite it's having a bad review - I like things about movies that other people don't like. And sometimes I find a redeeming quality that reviewers don't. Also, I have gone to see movies that got bad review because they were based on a favorite book or featured a favorite actor. Sometimes I just don't trust reviewers, especially in the SciFi genre'.

But they are usually right.

If it is something i want to see sorta, but i read review that say it sucks, i still may go see it. (I saw about 25 movies in the theaters last year 1/4 were bad).
I have a part-time job and go to school full time- and that is all so i have tons of time to kill during the week so i see movies.

Nope, not in the movie theaters, anyway. But if I go to my local video store I can rent anything for like 1.50 as long as i come in between 6am and 10am, so sometimes I'll check stuff out, just to see how bad it is (like the new Hellraiser, it was on a spaceship).

Not in the theatre I don't think.
But I watched Mission Impossible 2 last month thinking it would be good.
It's officially one of the top 5 worst movies I've ever seen.

I do sometimes, not all of the time. Sometimes it's nice to just go and see a movie even if it's bad.

I have, though not very often. The last time was because my wife has a thing for Sean Bean and she had to see Flightplan. It was awful, I fell asleep once or twice, but she got her Bean-fix.
