No, there are more constructive ways to show humility and honor without destroying life. Providing reparations or correction for the shameful act or failure is a good example.

Suicide in many ways is a very selfish act--it leaves your problems for someone else to clean up, plus the trama of your sudden demise.

I'm not sure why suicide would be encouraged anywhere...so no.
