I wonder why the 'leftist' media is covering this so much? hmmmmmmmmmm...maybe cvq is right, it has nothing to do with the media being 'leftist', and more to do with what sells.

Whatever gets ratings, they cover.

Back in the past, news divisions were considered a "public service," and not expected to trun a profit. That's all different now. I'm surprised they found time to squeeze it in, in between Anna Nicole and Britney coverage.

I don't believe that's the point of your question, but I thought it important to mention.

WAIT WAIT WAIT!

Don't you remember during the start of the war, the media only concentrated on the positive side?

This is just history righting itself. The Bushies had their shot and they blew it!

The American people deserve to know the truth about the mismanagement of the war, and furthermore, America's top soldier, Gen Peter Pace, has warned Congress that our military's ability to respond to another crisis is eroding because of the strain of Iraq and Afghanistan.

WE have been warned by our top soldier!

The media mostly votes Democrat (liberal) according to actual polls. Many liberals think the U.S. is the bad guy in all of this. As a result they seem to enjoy any story which might strengthen their largely Anti-American feelings. Their guilt complex knows no end.

Good question! The media never tells the side of the story about how good everything is going.

Remember, the Media is leftist allied, and like neo-libs and unions, they are in it for the money. Therefore, if it bleeds, it leads.

The media are all loosers.
