How do you deal with your husband or boyfriend never being there. When your pregnant, when in labor, after the kid is born,missing his/her child first step, first words, first day of school.The reason for my question is because my husband just got this new job and he have to travel once a week out of everyMonths i'm 16 weeks pregnant, we never been a part for more than 2 days. What can i do to get my mind off this ****.

You just do. You learn that this is how its going to be and you do what you need to.
My husband is Air Force and got deployed when our son was 3 months old. Not to mention when he was 2 months old we got stationed at a new base too!!! At the new base my hubby works from 6am-6pm or later, and he was gone for 7 months. We adjusted, not willingly, but we had to. Hes not here now because of the hours.
Its not easy, I rely on friends and family for support when he's not here.
