Write the thought down, that makes it real instead of a thought twisting your mind. Look at the written thought and visualize what is postive and negative about the thought. Then list what you want to do about this thought. Sometimes these thoughts are giving us a message that we need to complete some unfinshed business or that there is something wrong/right in our life. Most of these thoughts require action of some kind or these thoughts do not go away. Determine the action to be taken, do the action and the thought will no longer haunt you.
