The card is an older ATI Rage 128Pro and I have downloaded the driver but the system won't let me install it as it tells me that no harware matches the driver. Please help if you can. Thanks

A possible problem could be that the driver you're trying to use isn't compable with the OS you're using. An example for this is trying to use a driver that is designed for Windows 98 when the OS you're using is Windows XP.

Alternatively, you can try forcing the video driver and see if it works. To force it, when the device has been detected (Or perhaps update it when it's already been detected and is in device manager in system) . When asked how to search for the driver, choose the option that says "I will choose myself"

After that browse to the folder where your drivers are located and use it.

Download "Unknown Devices" version 1.2 or above
from http://www.halfdone.com.
Run the pgm . The video card
will be listed. Get the proper video. driver and install
save a copy of the report generated. for future use.
