Usually at your 1st visit, which is right around the corner for you. Most doctors suggest making the appointment between 8 - 10 weeks. It's your time, so get on the phone and make that appointment!

By now the fetal heart is flickering on Ultrasound, it will be a few weeks yet till u can hear it with a doppler. Depending on your habitus as early as 9 weeks or as late as 13 weeks. Hope this helps.

i was able to hear a heart beat through an ultra sound when i was only 6 weeks. As for them trying to find it themselves it took about 10-12 weeks
