I am not sure what grade level or what type of history you are teaching so it is hard to give you lots of advice. But the few times I found history fun where 1. When studying the gold rush era the teacher made a game where you where on a team of 2 people and you had short quizes and you moved one space closer to finding gold for each correct answer. The team that found gold first and found the most gold (did the best on the quizes) got extra points on the final exam.
2. When studying WWII and the holocost the teacher brought in WWII vets and holocost survivors to talk about what they remember and saw. Also did the holocost museum type thing where he put pictures of the camps and the victims on the wall and when you walked in you got a card with your name on it and after going through you where told if you lived or died. Made a good impact.
Try to do something that will make the information stick. History can be extremely boring. Try talking to your class to see how they would like to have you teach it.

Trying to turn it into a game always makes it more fun. Our teacher used to divide us into groups and got us to do things like putting a bunch of cards with various historical events written on them in order or asked questions that we had to answer. Or made a fictional world map and gave each group a country and we'd have to go around the class and sign treaties with some of the other countries while declaring war on others. And whichever group won would get candy or something. Or an extra couple of percent on the next test.

When I was in high school my history teacher had a vietnam vet come in and tell some real life war stories and show his personal photo album. It was very a captivating look at history from someone who actually lived it and not from the sidelines. Now that was almost ten years ago and students are already much different than when I was in school.

My husband loved history because of a teacher he had who insisted on dressing up like the people or the era he talked about.

Well I hated history in school until we got a new teacher.
When we were studying the wars and weapons and stuff she would say things like "you can dadream all you want but just remember that China could blow Ireland of the face of the earth with the push of a button". We woke up then!
She would also make us all stand up and she would ask questions. We weren't allowed to sit down until we got one right

examine on cosmology potential you opt for a PhD in astrophysics, no longer an aerospace engineering degree. those are thoroughly diverse fields, and MIT would not have a stable astronomy application. you may desire to choose what you opt for till now using to faculties. MIT takes approximately 6 scholars from India each and each twelve months. It fairly would not sound such as you have controlled to tell apart your self; absolutely everyone using has the utmost grades.

dont just lecture and have them take notes. my history teacher is terribly boring. all she does is assign us work and sits at her desk. what could be fun is group assignments where you can makes fun presentations. like, research a group of people (or whatever is being taught) and let them dress up and give a oresentation. good luck

I enjoyed taking a nap. Really I did. In high school, I've noticed History was really boring and drawn out. Lecture, Lecuture, get out of my class. But good job on trying to make it more fun. Maybe role playing would make it more interesting and educational.
