What would you do, if your future daughter-in-law's mother dislikes you?

I have tried to be sweet and invited her to dinners and showes. But I am not liked. I have ask my son about this. He says that she is that way with people and that I should not worry about her. But I do.

Be as nice as you can. Keep inviting her to things. Maybe one day, she will warm up to you. If she doesn't, at least you have tried. To the world outside, they can see that you are doing the best you can.
