they sent me a new K800i phone and told me this is to compensate for not receiving 6 months half price line rental, but I never received a new phone in the first place, I've still got 9 mths to go before my contract is but, but have been trying to resolve this issue from may 06

Generally if they send a written change to the terms of your service agreement at any point between the start and end dates, you might have the option of terminating your agreement. Seems kind of fishy that they'd send you a new phones as compensation for an error in your service agreement, though.

Sorry I'm not too good on contracts..
I'd say check the small print.
