iron will harden her poop, is she really constipated like where her poop is hard. As long as her poop is soft then it doesn't really matter how often she goes.

We got the doctor's okay to give our little one a few ounces of juice a couple of times a day in between formula feedings. You definitely want to let your pediatrician know about this first. We used Gerber's White Grape and Pear. If that doesn't help, you may have to resort to prune juice...definitely consult your doctor first!

You may also ask about low-iron formulas. Babies under 4-6 months don't need as much iron as some of those formulas pump in there.

Of course, we all know breastfeeding is best, to the person who answered that. But unfortunately, it doesn't always work out that way.

Anyway, best of luck with your little one!

Make sure not to use tap water to mix and do not over add on the formula. Also make sure it is very warm. You may also put some lotion on her back but warm it up first and then rub down to the base of her tail bone on both side of her spine that helps to stymulat the bowels do not rub on the spine, just on either side.. also set her on top of the dryer or the dish washer the noise is very stymulating and calming to the stomach. Just make sure every place is very warm and calm. but good start is good I would not do the iron till she is about six months old. it is hard on the stomache.

Well breastfeeding is the absolute best!!! But if you aren't breastfeeding go to your local health department or pediatrician and ask them not a bunch of strangers.
