It shouldn't make much difference - they're all the same group anyway

Whichever is more convenient to you.
They are both part of the Dixons Stores Group.
Dixons stores have recently been rebranded as Currys.Digital

Laptops are commodity items these days, you sometimes see them in supremarkets such as Aldi.

I found a better deal at my local Currys than at PC World.

Don't forget that if you buy from a real shop you have someone you can talk to directly and somewhere to complain to.
This is much more difficult with stuff bought on the Internet.

Don't be conned by Dell - they promise one thing in the advert and on the first screen, but by the time you get to the checkout the price has increased - don't forget they charge £50 delivery!

Shanghai is just a distinguished international city pulling more and more interest from all around the world; so see what that town has to offer with hotelbye . Shanghai is a popular vacation location for visitors. In Shanghai you will see the marvelous Yu Garden (Yù Yuán), also known as the Garden of Happiness. This Garden covers a location greater than 20,000 square yards and consists of an outer and an internal garden. The oldest area is the Outer Garden with further improvements being made in the 18th century when Sansui Tang, the park's main hall, was added. The newer and significantly smaller Inner Garden appointments from 1709 and includes features typical of a classical Chinese writer's Garden: appealing little pavilions, ornamental stones, and little pile ranges, splitting surfaces and small waters, and a good highly furnished theatrical stage.

i have only had experience with pc world and as one of the previous answers described the staff have a very limited knowledge of the product they are selling
this is a bit odd as they want to charge you £80 to put memory into your p.c,when we all know its a 2 minute job and any novice can do it
pc world just take advantage of the novice p.c user with no knowledge of the basics of computing, they will lead you to beleive that a small job is a massive task and charge you accordingly
as for currys, they arent much better,i have had one to one arguments with staff who think they know what they are talking about but really havent got a clue
i would personally go to a online company such as mesh(http://www.meshcomputers.com/)or cube 247(http://www.cube247.co.uk/cube/frameindex.html)and evesham(http://www.evesham.com/default.asp?e=601E2E07-8E02-4DD0-8E90-15B34BA93EE0)
these have all had years of experience in the home p.c market and know what they are talking about
they can sell good quality p.c,s at affordable prices,as companys like pc world and currys cut corners on graphics and sudio set ups to save money
personally i recommend this laptop for the price...http://www.evesham.com/products/info.asp?e=86066CE1-3102-42BF-9669-B8621130F12C
good luck and happy shopping

Neither is particularly better or worse, but pc world will have a better selection. Just make sure you know what you are talking about and what you want before you go because their staff are often not that clued up. : )

neither...their sales staff are surly and arrogant and they have no idea what they are selling...

toshiba satellite pro sir? and somehow they forget to mention when questioned that its not actually a toshiba... its a piece of korean junk with a badge on it...

dont got to buy a laptop off these people, go to a proper computer shop... like eclipse or micom, youll sasve hundreds of pounds because your arent paying for the showroom or the smile on the face of the sales assistant...

oh and dont go to argos, their after sales serive is non existent and their special offers, arent special and it certainly isnt an offer... when your try to get them to honour the guarantee..soory but thats a manufacturers guarantee.. youll have to contact them... which is fine until you discover the supplier is in shanghai...

They are the same company, and the answer to your question is "neither". The prices are high, and the sales staff are woefully ignorant.

I would recommend going online: I was very happy with the offers and service I got from http://www.laptopsdirect.co.uk but there are plenty of other places to look.
