i am using dos softwares in windows 98, and i purchased hp All in one F380 recently. it only works with usb and i can not get any print out from DOS softwares. i have individual computer. i.e. it is not connected in lan or any network. please assist me step by step how to do setting for this.

I assume in works correctly with Windows applications.

Go into the printer control panel and bring up the setting for the printer.

I don't have Windows 98 in front on me, but there's a setting for "capturing" the port for use in DOS applications. Sorry I can't give specifics, but hopefully this is enough to get you looking for the setting.
