Please let me know your experience I have to take one to become a Metro Police...Now in my life I havent been a saint but I havent done any crimes either....So im just a little nervous about the questions, so please help me out

When I say I havent done any crimes in other words I dont have a record...I dont owe the IRS...Things like that.

Well first off DON'T LIE
Second don't try to trick the machine its possible but keep in mind you have two lie detectors in the room.
They know your not going to be a perfect angel, best thing to do is answer all question true and if there is anything that may be an issue try to explain to them reason why it happened and how it will not effect your work performance; thats the whole point of it is to see if your able to handle the job-Good Luck

No it's just your nerves, when you take the test they'll ask you some obviously truthful statements like is your name, or is your address what ever then they give you a series of questions protaining to felony's any really serious crimes, stuff that really no normal person would do. So dont worry about it, stay calm and you'll do fine trust me they know what nerves are and what lying is. Good luck i hope you get the job!

Well, mine wasn't for the police...but they asked questions about drug use (extensive questions) and about crimes...including stealing from companies that I had worked for (extensive list of questions...even down to "Have you ever taken office supplies from a company for which you were employed?" They asked about my debts and they asked about my relationship with my family.

Do you mean Polygraph? Yes and i beat the machine all the time, there's new and more accurate way to test someone honesty.
