try working at the university in the resident halls. they ususally supply you with an apartment & a salary.

You can try for a Head of Security or Hall Warden at a University/College. Housing might be an optional clause or it is possible that it might come with the job.

Get a job at a boarding school. They hire teachers, coaches, dorm parents, you'd be surprised at how many boarding schools provide housing.
