contact microsoft and they will fix it. They extended the factory warranty to a year for everyone for free. If yours is more than a year old you might have to pay.

if you dont have a warranty then you are completely screwed. Save your harddrive and get ready to drop 400 bucks for a new system. the ps3 is good to but more expensive

they all have 1 year warntys on it
but 1st clean it with a disk cleaner
then call microsoft and see what they will do for you
if that donest works open it up and move the optical meck back and forth, it might be stuck

the only way is to have microsoft repair the system its going to cost around $100
