Guild Wars is a horrible rip off of World of Warcraft. It is free to play but in no way even compares to the greatness of World of Warcraft. World of Warcraft is great for a beginner to RPG's or someone with lots of experience. You design your character, choosing race and class. The gameplay is always changing, and now with the Burning Crusade Expansion, you can play forever. Besides, as an added bonus you get to celebrate holidays within the game, get xmas presents, shoot of fireworks, etc. This game is freakin awesome.

I would just like to add that when I was in a computer games store the staff were stamping on a guild wars box telling no one to buy it! And to get WoW (world of warcarft) instead I haven't played either (my computer sucks) but I would take their advice. As I'm sure they know what they are talikng about

Get the original, then Factions, then Nightfall, this is the order they was released in.
And if you see anyone picking up WOW laugh at them and ask if they're really that stupid to buy a 3rd rate game that they're going to pay for, whilst you're playing a much better one for free.
