One adult produces between 100 and 250 grams of feces per day. Multiply that by 6 billion, and you get between 600 and 1500 billion grams, or 600 million kilograms to 1.5 billion kilograms, per day.

EDIT: Whoops, thanks to the person below me. That should read "100 and 250 GRAMS."

I find it hard to believe that 100 to 250 lbs of poop comes out of my *** every day.

The human population today is about 6 billion. I would guess conservatively about 2 lbs of poop. So, 12 billion lbs of poop per day? 4.38 trillion lbs of poop per year? Course remember, that other organisms like bacteria act on poop to decompose it back into soil and humus, so it's not that bad.
