It is EXTREMELY unsafe.
The absolute perfect set-up for conception is when live sperm are waiting in the fallopian tube at the time of ovulation.
The first day of menstruation is Day 1. If she bled for 4 to 7 days, and you had sex 4 days after that, then she was at around Day 8-11. Depending on the length and regularity of her cycles, it is likely that she would be ovulating on Day 13 or 14.
Sperm can live 7 days, so it's very possible that they were there just waiting for that egg to come down the pike.
You didn't say when this happened, but if is was in the last 5 days, she should take Plan B (morning after pill). Depending on where you live and how old she is, it can be purchased at a pharmacy; or she can call any women's clinic and they can prescribe it for her.
Plan B is labeled for use 72 hours (3 days) after unprotected sex. However studies have shown it is equally effective at 5 days after. It is at least 80% effective in preventing conception, and will have no effect on an existing pregnancy.

It is a great way to get her pregnant, if that's what you mean!
Young women are very very fertile and having unprotected sex on ANY day of the month, even DURING her period, can result in a pregnancy. Plenty of women get pregnant outside of their most fertile days of the month. I certainly did.
1) Sperm lives for 5 days and possibly longer after intercourse.
2) So if she has a 28 day cycle, which is average, and her period lasts four days, then you had sex on "day 9" of her cycle.
3) If she has a 28-day cycle, she is most fertile on day 14, and if you add five days to Day 9 that means she could definitely get pregnant having sex on Day 9. In fact, your sperm will be inside of her and probably still living when her egg is released and available to be fertilized.
You can look forward to 18 years of visitation and child support payments if she gets pregnant.
Time to get some protection and use it every single time if this isn't what you want. How about making sure your girlfriend starts taking the pill?

NO.
Women are most fertile 10-15 days before their period starts. Most women are on a 28 day cycle, but not all, and that includes the week during her period. And sperm can live as long as 7 days inside her body. Nothing is in stone either. She could ovulate early. Especially is she is pretty young (you don't give an age) or she is irregular. Never have unprotected sex if you don't want a pregnancy to happen.

That isn't safe at all. As the period is ending, it's already started over, and although it may be safer than when she's been off of it for 2 weeks, it's still not a safe option. If your not trying to get her pregnant, i'd suggest her getting on birth control, and always using condoms.

Nope, it's unsafe. The egg is released two weeks after the start of the menstrual cycle. That would be approximately a week after your girl stopped bleeding, depending on how long she bled. Sperm can live up to 5 days inside the womb, with a conception by sperm which lived up to 8 days having been documented. If you put two and two together, it's very unsafe.

it's never safe! God works in mysterious ways. Also, since you are using the term "girl" you are probably too young to have sex. Once you realize your lover is a woman, then you are more aware of pregnancy and the consequences of unprotected sex.

there is NEVER a good time to have unprotected sex if you dont want to get her pregnant. Everyone ovulates at a diffrent time AND the sperm can live up to 5 days.

There is no "safe" time. Not really. A girl can get pregnant at any point in her cycle because sometimes her ovualtion is not in sync with the rest of her body. Always use protection against pregnancy and disease -keeps all kinds of unwanted things from happening.
