It is a way to pay for things over the internet. Takes a credit card or checking account to use. They draft your card or account when you buy something. They are very dishonest and cheat.

PayPal is a website that allows you to pay bills, or pay for things you buy on the internet, provided you establish an account with them. You must have either a checking or savings account, or use a valid credit card, which they will check out in advance. You abide by the terms they set up, and which they will give you in advance. Most legitimate sellers on eBay and many others places will only sell to people with verified PayPal accounts. People with PayPal accounts will only buy from sellers who accept PayPal. They each know they are protected as much as they can be, against fraud.

Go to www.PayPal.com. You will provide personal information, including either/or a checking account or credit card information, as well. Then, when you purchase something on the net, using PayPal, you can be assured that you are protected.
It's a fabulous way to do business, I use it all the time when I make purchases with eBay, but other businesses use PayPal, too.
There's lots of info at the PayPal site.

Go to www.paypal.com and sign up for an account. I think you have several options of how to pay for items with your paypal account. I have mine connected to a debit card and it automatically transfers the money whenever I use it. Other people load up their account with a bit of credit at a time.

For security reasons I would suggest having an email account purely to be linked to your paypal account.

Also, be aware that phishing and attempted fraudulent access attempts are very common for paypal accounts.

you can check it out at paypal.com. It's a method of paying for things over the internet, but your personal checking and/or credit accounts are still connected to them and not much safer than just using a cc to pay for something.
