it probably works as well as any other self-improvement plan in that you get out of it what you put in... but 'the secret' is NOT the ONLY answer out there. read up on other things, especially search the web for 'meditation' and you'll find a ton of useful methods. try them all and find one or a combo of methods that works for you. take a little 'good stuff' from everything and develop your own method. there's NEVER ONE answer or 'cure', as much as oprah or anyone else hawks their books.

I think what really matters is whether you (or the person who's reading it) believes it will work. Faith is very important when you're seeking answers.
