i can stop internet explorer putting adverts on my computer every few minutes it certainly spoils anything else i wish to do

If you can get a copy of last weeks Micro Computer Mart (it's only £2) it has a free disc on it with pop up blockers, anti virus, anti spy ware etc. They also have a good article on security in it. Well worth a read. Good luck

Get a pop-up blocker installed. Also run a virus/adware scan to see if you have downloaded any nasties.

Download google tool bar ,it has a pop up blocker,you can hide
the toolbar if you wish.

You need a pop up stopper installed on your pc

try downloading lavasoft Ad-Aware it seems to work pretty good for me. Alternatively Stop visiting porno sites as they will give you loads of pop ups ya scud watching pervo ha ha

get a pop up blocker or better still get firefox that way you do not have to use ie
