If they are cut flowers, they will ultimately die. If it is a potted plant, remove flowers as they fade this encourages reblooming, remove yellowed leaves for aesthetic reasons, give mild fertilizer solution. Best office plants are those that don't require much sunlight: Impatiens, pothos, zebra plant, spider plant, there are lots.

I would take the plant home and cut it off about 2 inches from the bottom and put it in a sunny window and start fertilizing it about once amonth it will look pretty ugly for a little while but it will throw out new shoots and pretty soon it will look good again(I had a mum I just had to do this to) go to the grocery store and by a shamrock plant to put on your desk since st Padd'ys day is just around the corner! They are a nice bloomiing plant for the season.

Sounds like a kind of daisy. They need a lot of sun and most offices don't have it. They also don't like to be overwatered, so if they are very wet all the time, they are not happy. Best idea is to take them home and plant them outside.
