Old people usually are called "dear" so that would have to be it. I am NOT most of the rest of those. Poppet is my favorite, though.

"Pickle" or "petal". I love those. Some affectionate nicknames are rather weird sounding to non-Brits, like being called "love" by a male shop assistant, for example. "Pickle" and "petal" are always sweet in my opinion. "Pickle" isn't that common, I think. I first heard it in an episode of UK comedy "Spaced".

none of those. i used to be called little boo, princess and piglet.
but i prefer the one i have now Zaika (it means bunny). this is funny but my bf also calls me tarakanchik which translates as little cocroach, but he only came up with it cuz i have a tattoo of a lizzard and he couldnt think of the word for lizzard so he called it cocroach
