the earth turns in such a way that the sun rises from east to west(imagining that true fact--answer this), then why is it that the jet stream goes from west to east.

The earth rotates from west to east. The jet stream goes from west to east. It's that simple.

You are confusing yourself by comparing the rotation to an external object which forces you to use the reverse order to explain it.

The jet stream moves west to east (generally, but not always) and the sun rises in the east and sets in the west for much the same reason...the rotation of the Earth on its own axis.

Looking down on the Earth from above the Arctic, the counterclockwise rotation of the globe makes it appear to us that the sun is rising in the east and, later, setting in the west. That same CCW rotation also speeds under the atmosphere, which, due to surface friction, is dragged along with the Earth's turning. That friction drag sets up the general direction of the wind from west to east.

The sun is not related to the jetstream
