I'm going to Denver for Spring Break, (march 16th) and would like some tips on fun things to do, besides going to a club? Also, I'm kinda on a buget so if you know of anything thats cheap I would love to know. (dining, shopping, site seeing, etc.)

Not much clubbing here. We're a pretty conservative, church-going place. If you're on a budget I'd recommend a few things:

1.) Denver Museum of Nature and Science.

Very good exhibits and also an IMAX theatre inside that always has good programs going on.

2.) Denver zoo.

Good zoo. Something to do, certainly.

3.) City Park.

Big park, nice walks, and free!

4.) 16th street mall.

Good place for people-watching with cheap resaurants, cheaper shopping (like the Gap), and at the end is the state capital. You can hike up to the top of the capital dome and get free tours. Visit the nearby Denver library while you're at it.

5.) If you get the chance, visit the 'burbs. Littleton is a quaint suburb in the southwestern part of the city. There is Roxborough State Park for hiking and neat parks and a neat little downtown.

I think you'll love the city. It's not New York or Los Angeles--we're a little more folkly and down-to-earth than that--but it's a nice place for families with plenty of family-friendly stuff to do.

Go south to Colorado Springs. You can go see Garden of the Gods and the Air Force Chapel. I actually liked CS more than Denver when I visited, sorry Denverians or whatever you call yourselves. There's the coin mint in Denver, and there's a zoo and an art museum. Enjoy, and be safe. God bless.

hiking, and its been nice enough to go up as long as you dress warm. skiing, walking the 16th street mall, walking the Pearl st mall (boulder), red rocks, the new addition to the art musem, hundreds of art galleries, factory outlets in castle rock and silverthorne. there are tons of clubs too and lots of totally awesome hole in the wall old dirty bars.
