Why do men identify themselves and their persona with their job?

As a woman, a job is a job that needs doing, not nessasarily who I am or what I am about. Why do men tend to profile their lives after their jobs?

Yes, a dress is a just a dress and a shoe is just a shoe. My clothes don't dictate who I am. Whether I am in jeans and a t-shirt or in an evening gown and diamonds, I am no different. Anyone who says otherwise is shallow and immature and hasn't found themselves.

can you say that a dress is a dress, or a pair of shoe is just a pair of shoe to you? simply put, your dress & your shoes makes you who you are, so is a man's job
