being a lover of fake tan since i was 14 and im now 24, i can tell you that u cant wash it off, it has to come off by itself. before u apply tan, exfoliate the skin when in shower, then moisturise and let the moisturiser absorb into the skin. after you have applied fake tan, the next day u shud shower but dont rub at the skin, jus wash ur skin with ur hand. when ur out of the shower, moisturise is vital!!! i cant stress this enough, always moisturise, the day after that start exfoliating ur skin, exfoliation gloves are great for getting tan off the skin. remember, when wearing tan, always moisturise!! and anyway, its better having a blotchy tan than getting skin cancer from a real tan!! hope i helped!

It's really drastic to want to remove a fake tan after just 2 days, nevertheless Lemon juice will work, then exfoliate in the shower, good luck! x

washing up liquid is great at getting it off, just apply it to almost dry skin and work into a lather, then simpley wash off. Going swimming definately takes your tan off, I go every Wednesday. I go in brown and come out white as a ghost!

Did you try shampoo or lemon juice? I sell Mary Kay ans it help with our sunless tanning when you get streaks.
I also hear nail polish remover but never tried it.

okay this has happened to me, the way to get it off is use rubbing alchol i know you might smell really bad after but just take a shower.when you are using the achol dont scrub your skin becasue then your skin become irritated and you dont know if you got the tan stuff off.

can you top it up and keep a permanent tan? Or maybe blend by using one of those holiday tan products so the blotches aren't obvious.
