It seems like no matter what you do the honest, hard working people fall behind. Yet the scum and criminals of this world skate through it like a breeze. Why is that?

It is b/c you are an honest hardworking person that has morals and a conscious that keeps you behind, esentially keeping you honest.
Now ask yourself, is it really that bad to be so honest, caring, to be a hardworker? I know what you feel like, b/c I'm a single mom that can't ever get caught up let alone ahead. It is very frusterating, and some times I just can't believe how easy it is for others. At those times I remember what my great grandmother always says... You are what you are educated to be....If you think you are happy and fine you will be happy and fine.....I guess it is kinda like the Secret O books message. The power of mind is powerfull. Just tell yourself that you are doing the right thing, b/c you are! I hope you have a great day, and keep your head up, things could be worse, ya know! ... :)

I know how you feel, I wish like there was a great answer for this. I see my family working hard but can't get ahead, or even comfortable, non-stop nose to the grind stone to make ends meet.
The drug dealers down the street have new cars, no jobs the only thing they worry about is getting caught, but then I don't really think that that bothers them. The good (?) criminal, doesn't let the surrounding know what there doing, cops can't seem to 'catch' anything.
I don't know why that is, but just look at it this way, one time just one time they slip up to bad there going to jail and loose it all-hopefully. I am with you there. I just gets me so irritated!!! We work to hard to watch that crap happen!!

the problem here is your view of success. what the world sees as success and what success really is are two different things. For me as a Christian success means living my life for God. Life is not about how much money we make or the kind of car we drive or the house we live in. It is about the relationships we build with people.
I knew a man once who was very wealthy and many people envied him. But I knew that his relationship with his family was not very good. He worked all the time and many of his "friends" were there because of the money. He never really enjoyed any of it. Sad to say he was killed in an accident and all that money and big house did nothing for him in the end.
Relationships are what is import. Our relationship with God and with other people.

The system is set up that way to keep the little guy down so the big guy will have plenty of labor to fill his own pockets. One the thing I always remember is that they are eventually going to get a dirt nap just like everyone else. And the only thing that all their "stuff" means is that their garage sale will have more junk in it to get rid of.

I only think your statement is true about 30% of the time.

The working class are doomed. It bothers me to know I'm gonna have to struggle the rest of my life because I'm not poor enough to get help and I don't make enough to have any extra. Life sucks !

Your work matters to God. It sounds like you need to patch up that relationship (or lack of relationship) first before you can make any progress.
