Pelosi would be Vice President. Accidents can happen is what Dick Cheney said about shooting Harry Whittington (Lawyer) in the face, his own words.

Everyone who is telling you Pelosi is wrong. She is third in line if both the President and Vice President become unable to fulfill their duties at the same time.
If just the VP goes, the president appoint a new Vice president and that gets approved by the congress.

The president nominates a new VP, congress ratifies the choice, much like cabinet members. The last case of this happening was when Spiro Agnew stepped down, and Gerald Ford became vice president.

Bush would appoint a new VP...who would then have to be confirmed by the Senate.
Those who are claiming Pelosi would become the VP do not have the vaguest notion of the Constitution or how the government works!

Those people who are responding "Pelosi" are mistaken. The President nominates anyone he chooses (as long as that person meets all the Constitutional requirements to hold the office). The Senate then votes on whether to confirm. If confirmed, the person becomes the new VP.

The President gets to appoint someone - that's how Gerald Ford became Vice President - when Agnew resigned and Nixon appointed Ford.

Bush picks one the constitution has no succession for the death of a vice-president just President ergo Bush can pick someone and then they get confirmed.
If Bush AND Cheney take a dirt nap then it's Pelosi and if she goes then it's Robert Byrd then if he goes it's Condoleeza Rice then...
Okay here's the chart..

Who cares? There's plenty of government to go around. Even if they were both off'd, there's enough government to make sure there's not even a hiccup in operations. I mean, seriously, do you REALLY think Bush and Cheney are calling the shots?! Please don't say you are that stupid. They are the front boys, the real decisions are being made by ugly men behind closed doors who don't even have a #ss number or birth certificate...that is how UNKNOWN they are. Sistah pleeeze.
