Very funny ?. Cows do not need grass to produce milk they can eat what ever and still produce milk. It is when a cow becomes pregnant and when giving birth her milk yield will increase this is to feed the new born calf. Although as a dairy farmer water is very important for cows to produce milk especially during the summer months. Also the cows intake of calcium must increase before giving birth as all her calcium goes into her first milk to ensure the calf will be strong and fight of disease. While waling through the fields I have often chewed on fresh grass and I drink loads of water but still (let me check) , no, no milk sorry.

Women can already make milk without eating grass. They can also bleed for five days without dieing. They're fascinating creatures, who are all too happy to tell you so.
Ah, well, there goes my feminist credibility..

In answer to your question though, cows have four stomachs to help break down the chlorophyll in grass, the same reason why a rabbit's appendix is bigger than it's stomach. You can't really compare humans and cows and rabbits because some scientists now actually believe that they are all different..

Humans DO produce milk. Just the females however... like every other mammal in the world.

Eating only grass and water... That would kill us. Sorry...

Humans produce due to hormones telling the body to produce milk to feed our babies. Cows that are used for milking are already mothers to calves, they are taken away for milking everyday to keep their milk production up. It has nothing to with just eating grass and drinking water!!

females begin to produce milk during pregnancy...

they will not grow more nipples through only eating grass and drinking water though LOL

there are insufficient nutrients in the grass and we would die of malnutrition... grass consists of something like 80% cellulose which is indigestible to us humans and will just pass straight out of your bum.

and cows have been 'encouraged' to produce milk at the levels and times they do.

A vegan diet is the nearest to this that the human body can stand and still survive and females do lactate to feed their young as the cows are doing when they produce milk.
All mammals produce milk to feed their young no matter what their diet is.
Males have been known to lactate aswell as females

Humans do produce milk. Lactation has more to do with hormones than diet.

No, we'd just die of malnutrition. Grass alone doesn't have the nutrients to sustain human life.
