I know this gentlemen who makes me smile, laugh, and feel happy with myself. He's older and lives a while away. He's sends me flowers with no worries of cost.
Is it wrong to want to pursue something anyways. I feel it's not

Age nor distance should keep you from being with someone you love. If you are both available and want to be together, then you should. But there are things to consider though: the difference in age and you didn't say could be a big factor if you want children and maybe he doesn't or he already has done the children thing. And if you go full blown relationship, will you continue living in separate places, or him move to where you are or you move to where he is. Just some things to think about. Good Luck!

Age and distance shouldn't matter if there is truly something there. It is NOT a crime to feel happy with yourself or smile or laugh. If he makes you do all these things then he is a real treasure, go for it. The chance for happiness doesn't come along very often, don't miss it.

Age and distance DO matter...but they shouldn't keep you from having a great relationship. If you kid yourself into thinking that they don't matter, you could be in trouble before you start.
If you take into consideration what difficulties age and distance can cause, you will be ahead of the game, and better able to prepare for any difficulties that could lie ahead.
For example-
does he have children your age or older than you that are going to give him grief and put pressure on him to end the relationship?
if you're ever going to get together, one of you has to be willing to relocate. which one of you will it be?
I personally wouldn't mind a long distance relationship, but the guy would have to be willing to relocate, because I need to be near my mother, as she is aging. It would be unfair of me to get involved in a relationship and NOT consider the distance for that reason...we could both end up being hurt.
Stop and think, and consider the difficulties, and what they will be. If the relationship is right, then you will still be able to work around them, and progress in spite of them.
Good luck!!

Age is just a number...and well distance is too...
if you think he could be Mr. Right, you should definately pursue the relationship...anyone who can make you happy, is someone worth tryin for.
Good Luck : )

I believe age shouldn't matter unless your like 16 dating someone alot older but long distant rrelationships aren't always easy and might not always be as fulfiling as you might want it to be. There will be times when you need your man and he can't be right there. But everything is worth trying for expecially if he makes you happy.

Ask yourself DO I LOVE HIM? If the answer is yes then don't let a bunch of people on a computer tell ya what to do. Because Angel love ain't a thing but a number.

It does not matter if he's your Mr. Right, regardless of age, religion, race ; etc. Most important you love each other and stay happily with the relationship, agree ?

depends on how much age difference,, and how much distance,,, And how do you know Mr Right doesn't go looking for the young naive women,,,, Believe me I know there is many charming intelligent men,, who have so much experience , they just like the chase,, Once they are assured of your love,, they dump you and go on to the next,,,, Be careful
