Wet a cloth with warm water and use carpet shampoo.

Any good carpet cleaner will work but try dabbing the stain with clean tissues to bring up the excess rather than scrubbing at first because that will push it further into the carpet. Keep doing this until the stain is mostly gone and then scrub. You could also try makeup remover with the same technique then let it dry and hoover it vigorously when you have finished. Good luck.

try make up remover then wash the area in luke warm water
