I get a strong signal but cannot get internet connection........I had no problem when using Belkin router but it went bad after having for a year.

Make sure the router is properly configured to acces your broadband connection,,,

Most wireless routers will also handle wired connections as well... try using the wired connection and see if you get access to ascertain whether the issue is with the router config vs. the wireless side!

If it works, and the wireless is the issue, make sure the wirless connection is "hooking up"... Check the TCP/IP settings generated from the router... They should be something like 192.168.X.X and not 169.254.X.X... the latter says you did not receive a valid IP address from the DHCP server in the router! This could be because the security settings in your adapter config (WEP or WPA) do not match those in the router!

As long as they are compatible with each other, they should work. If one of them uses MIMO, you could have some problems, because MIMO isn't standard.
